Qualifications

Role Description

We are seeking a talented, creative, and highly organized Interior Design & Project Manager to join our growing team in Dubai.

This is a dynamic, full-time position combining office-based interior design, technical coordination, and hands-on site project management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility alongside the technical expertise and leadership required to manage luxury residential projects from concept development through final execution and handover.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that every design detail is translated into exceptional on-site craftsmanship.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative environment of a design office and the practical challenges of managing premium construction and fit-out projects on site.

Key Responsibilities - Interior Design & Creative Development

• Develop and refine sophisticated interior design concepts for luxury villas and high-end residential projects.
• Prepare space planning layouts, furniture arrangements, material selections, and detailed design presentations.
• Coordinate mood boards, finishes, lighting concepts, furniture, joinery, and bespoke interior elements.
• Review and coordinate 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with external designers, architects, and consultants to ensure design consistency and technical feasibility.
• Propose creative and practical design solutions that elevate the overall quality and aesthetic of each project.

Site Management & Project Execution

• Oversee daily site activities to ensure interior design concepts are executed accurately and to the highest standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure exceptional workmanship and finishing quality.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, specialist suppliers, and installation teams.
• Review and resolve design-related site challenges, technical discrepancies, and execution issues.
• Ensure materials, finishes, joinery, stonework, lighting, and bespoke installations meet approved specifications.
• Identify potential delays, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain project schedules.
• Supervise snagging, quality inspections, final detailing, and project handover.

Project Management & Coordination

• Manage multiple luxury residential projects from design development through completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate design approvals, material submissions, samples, and shop drawing reviews.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication.
• Conduct and participate in client meetings, technical coordination meetings, and site progress reviews.
• Prepare regular progress reports, meeting minutes, action trackers, and project documentation.
• Maintain a balance between design excellence, commercial considerations, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in luxury residential interior design and project management, preferably involving premium villas and bespoke fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, material specifications, and luxury finishes.
• Solid technical knowledge of construction drawings, detailed joinery, stonework, lighting, and interior fit-out execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software, along with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to review shop drawings, coordinate technical details, and resolve design-related site issues.
• Experience managing project schedules, contractors, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a refined understanding of luxury design and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Previous experience working on high-end residential projects in Dubai or the UAE is highly preferred.
• UAE driving license is preferred due to regular site visits.
