Job summary

Flip retail is seeking an Engineering Manager with an instrumentation background to lead large-scale EPC projects in the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, coordinating contractors, and driving cost control and performance improvements across offshore and onshore developments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in multi-discipline design teams within engineering contractors, consultants, or owner organizations, managing FEED through EPC phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation from a recognized university.
• 20 years of relevant experience in oil and gas.
• Advanced level in Engineering Management and/or training or experience in Project Management.
• Proven ability to lead design effort for significant projects in oil/gas companies and to work with Value Improving Practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EPC Professionals comply with all legal requirements.
• Oversee EPC Contractor sources for Offshore Building and ensure objectives align with Task goals.
• Ensure EPC Specialists' resources are adequate and competent.
• Launch and manage Project continuous improvement processes.
• Establish reliable communication interfaces with EPC Contractors, Sub-contractors and other stakeholders.
• Develop cost and progress monitoring systems and reporting per EPC Agreement requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Organize coordination meetings with EPC Contractors regularly.
• Prepare progress reports and distribute communications to Project Management with actionable guidance.
• Lead cost-saving and efficiency initiatives to deliver optimal commercial performance to the Owner.
