Job summary

Aldar Academies in the UAE is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Computing/ICT for Al Ain British Academy with immediate start. The role covers Computer Science and ICT across GCSE and Computer Science at A-level, aligned to the English National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, drive standards, and work collaboratively within Aldar Academies’ values-driven environment. A compelling remuneration package with development opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Computing/Computer Science/ICT teacher in the English Curriculum.
• Experience with English National Curriculum and GCSE

Responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning conducive to outstanding practice.
• Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and set targets.
• Differentiate for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students.
• Plan lessons with structure, pace, and meaningful activities.
• Use assessment data to inform planning and progress.
• Assess and report student progress and maintain records.
• Attend parent/student events and support curriculum development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and plug gaps in learning.
