Job description

The role involves working on projects related to stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. This includes conducting investigations, overseeing pipelines, valves, and rising mains, and supervising & monitoring design and infrastructure work.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

1. Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
2. Engaging with contractors, subcontractors, laboratories, and monitoring construction work daily.
3. Controlling site inspections and testing, maintaining inspection reports and site test records.
4. Preparing instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
5. Reviewing and approving design documents, construction plans, and procedures.
6. Performing civil and structural tests.
7. Providing general inspections of all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
8. Identifying non-conforming works, generating reports, and coordinating corrective actions.
9. Performing other responsibilities as appropriate for this position.
10. Serving as the liaison for internal and external clients regarding DM Infrastructure.
11. Having experience in utility diversions and management.
