Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) is seeking an Infrastructure Site Engineer to oversee on-site execution of roads, utilities, drainage and earthworks in Dubai. You will ensure activities are safe, efficient, and compliant with approved designs and specifications.

The role requires strong site supervision, setting-out, quality control, and adherence to HSE standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying tools is essential to verify levels, alignments and grades on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with relevant infrastructure focus.
• 3-6 years of experience in infrastructure site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of road works, utilities, drainage systems and earthworks.
• Experience in site supervision, quality control and HSE compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and site surveying/setting-out tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities for road, utility, drainage and earthworks packages.
• Set out infrastructure works and verify levels, alignments and grades.
• Inspect materials, workmanship and installations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site safety procedures.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports and quality inspection records.
• Identify and elevate technical issues, delays or non-conformances.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
• Coordinate with utility authorities during connection and testing works.
