Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and budgets for infrastructure maintenance projects. You will prepare BoQ, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and contracts.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure or similar settings, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel/Project proficiency, and a collaborative approach to work with project teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Strong cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills.
• Proficiency with surveying software and MS Office, especially Excel/Project.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze bills of quantities (BoQ) for infrastructure maintenance projects.
• Conduct cost estimation, forecasting, and budget analyses to support planning.
• Monitor expenditures and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and change orders.
• Perform quantity measurements and valuations against project specs and standards.
• Maintain project documentation and cost databases for audit/reference purposes.
• Analyze supplier quotations and negotiate pricing to optimize costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for cost tracking.
