Job summary

Royal Infra Contracting LLC, the infrastructure arm of Azizi Developments, seeks an experienced Draftsman to produce accurate, authority-compliant drawings for roads, utilities and site infrastructure across UAE projects.

You will support design development through construction and handover, delivering shop, construction and as-built drawings while coordinating with Project Engineers, Surveyors and Consultants to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years drafting experience, with at least 3 years on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Civil 3D knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with MicroStation, GIS or BIM tools.
• Understanding UAE authority standards (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret survey data and engineering specs.
• Experience with roads, utilities and drainage drawing preparation and utility coordination.
• Basic knowledge of quantity take-off from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings for infrastructure works, including roads, pavements, earthworks, storm water drainage, sewerage, potable and irrigation water, and utility networks
• Develop plan and profile drawings, cross-sections, longitudinal sections, grading and levelling plans, and setting-out drawings
• Prepare utility coordination and composite drawings (water, sewer, storm water, electrical, telecom, gas, street lighting) to identify and resolve clashes
• Draft traffic diversion and temporary traffic management drawings for site works
• Produce drawings in line with requirements of UAE authorities such as RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Etisalat/du, Empower and master developers
• Convert survey data and engineer mark-ups into accurate CAD drawings; update drawings as per site changes, RFIs and consultant comments
• Incorporate consultant and authority comments and resubmit within agreed timelines
• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings to support the QS and planning teams
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and file management in coordination with the Document Controller
• Coordinate closely with Project Engineers, Surveyors, Site Engineers and Consultants to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability
• Prepare as-built drawings and NOC/handover drawing packages for authority approvals and project closeout

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman with a strong background in UAE infrastructure projects to prepare accurate, authority-compliant technical drawings for roads, utilities and site infrastructure works. The role supports the engineering and site teams from design development through to construction and as-built handover.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Civil 3D is highly preferred
• Familiarity with MicroStation, GIS or BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks) is an advantage
• Good understanding of UAE authority standards and submission requirements (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.)
