Job summary

AL Marwan General Contracting Company is seeking a reliable and well‑organized Senior Draftsman to join our Infrastructure Project Team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in UAE road and infrastructure projects, supporting design coordination and site execution with high-quality drawings.

The successful applicant should possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of U.A.E authority standards and construction practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of proven experience as a Draftsman in road & infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Extensive experience in roads, highways, utilities, drainage systems, and infrastructure layouts.
• Solid understanding of U.A.E authority standards, regulations, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and technical queries.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and document control.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands‑on experience in UAE road and infrastructure projects, supporting design coordination and site execution with high‑quality drawings and locations as required.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of proven experience as a Draftsman in road & infrastructure projects within the UAE
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Civil 3D is an added advantage)
• Extensive experience in roads, highways, utilities, drainage systems, and infrastructure layouts
• Solid understanding of U.A.E authority standards, regulations, and construction practices
• Ability to independently prepare and manage shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project requirements
• Coordinate closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and technical queries
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards
• Provide timely and accurate drawing support to facilitate smooth site execution
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and document control
