Job summary

Boskalis Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil & Concrete) to oversee multidisciplinary tenders and projects within the Infra Business Line. You will act as the webs between design, preparation, procurement and realization across several projects and tenders.

You will coordinate planning, procurement and delivery files, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in road and civil concrete construction. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is an asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
3–5 years of relevant work experience including working methods, techniques and professional software.
Good command of English (written and spoken) is required; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess colleagues', subcontractors', and customers' work to ensure tenders, projects, and designs meet requirements.
Create work plans and inspection plans.
Set up planning in collaboration with the execution team.
Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontracting.
Be responsible for the delivery file and its management.
Perform cost control with suppliers and subcontractors.
Convince customers and internal stakeholders of feasibility and safety of the proposed solution and specifications.
Report to and support the (integral) project manager.
