Euro Mechanical in Abu Dhabi is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the IT team in Musaffah. You will be the first point of contact for technical support across locations, ensuring systems run smoothly and users stay productive.

Working with the IT Specialist and IT Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to a broad tech landscape, from Office 365 and Azure to networks, servers, CCTV and telephony.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering, IT or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT systems, networks and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, MS Office, Office 365, SharePoint and Azure.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls and Unify switches/controllers.
• Certifications such as MCP/MCSA/MCSE, CCNA or VMware VCP are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to user support requests on-site and remotely, escalating when needed.
• Install, maintain and upgrade hardware, software, printers and peripherals.
• Configure and support Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, firewalls, switches and network infra.
• Administer Windows Servers, AD, Azure AD, DHCP, DNS, print servers and file shares.
• Support physical and virtual servers, including monitoring, backups and monthly patching.
• Administer CCTV, access control, PABX and IP telephony systems.
• Provide basic ERP/CRM support and basic IT training for users.
• Maintain records of IT assets, licences and system docs.
• Support procurement (PRs, POs, GRNs) and vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve IT service.
• Travel to company and partner locations when required; handle emergency calls after hours.

About the job

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our IT team in Musaffah. You will be the first point of contact for technical support across our locations, keeping systems running smoothly and users productive. Working closely with our IT Specialist and IT Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to a broad technology environment, from Office 365 and Azure to networks, servers, CCTV and telephony.

What you will do

• Respond to user support requests on-site and remotely, escalating quickly when needed
• Install, maintain and upgrade hardware, software, printers/MFDs and peripherals
• Configure and support Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and network infrastructure
• Administer Windows Servers, AD, Azure AD, DHCP, DNS, print servers and file share permissions
• Support physical and virtual server platforms, including monitoring, backup and monthly patching
• Administer CCTV, access control, PABX and IP telephony systems
• Provide basic ERP and CRM support, and basic IT training for users
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences and system documentation
• Support procurement activities (PRs, POs, GRNs) and build positive relationships with vendors
• Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve IT service
• Travel to company and partner locations when required, and support emergency calls outside office hours

What you will bring

• Degree in Computer Engineering, IT or a related technical field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT systems, networks and troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows, MS Office, Office 365, SharePoint and Azure
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Unify switches and controllers
• Knowledge of virtualisation and backup technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam and Nakivo
• Certifications such as Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA, Office 365 or VMware VCP are highly desirable
• A proactive, customer-focused approach, a strong sense of urgency and a genuine eagerness to learn
