Qualifications

Job description

The IT Manager will lead all technology operations across the head office and potentially multiple project sites. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems that support real estate operations, property management platforms, and overall business objectives. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on leader, responsible for managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems (like ERP), and a small internal IT team while aligning technology strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Administration

• Manage the full Microsoft 365 tenant (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and oversee Azure virtual machines.
• Design and maintain networking infrastructure across office and site locations, including LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems and services.

Cybersecurity & Endpoint Management

• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Defender suites (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365) and administer Microsoft Intune for device compliance.
• Enforce MFA, conditional access, and advanced security controls, while overseeing patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies and lead incident response when needed.

Enterprise Systems & ERP Administration

• Manage ERP platforms (specifically Oracle NetSuite or Oracle Fusion) including role provisioning and access security.
• Oversee property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio) and ensure system uptime and compliance.
• Serve as the primary IT liaison for finance teams and Oracle implementation partners.

IT Strategy, Budget & Vendor Management

• Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap aligned with company growth and operational objectives.
• Oversee the annual IT budget, spending forecasts, and tracking of software licenses (Adobe, Autodesk, Oracle, etc.).
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, ISPs, and technology partners, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.

Team Leadership & Support

• Lead, mentor, and develop an internal IT team, conducting performance reviews and supporting capability growth.
• Provide escalated technical support for complex issues affecting business operations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership, operations, and accounting teams to align technology with business needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), cybersecurity (CISSP), or project management (PMP, ITIL) are highly preferred.
• 8-14 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 3-6 years in a senior or managerial IT role.
• At least 5 years managing Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Proven experience administering Oracle NetSuite or Oracle Fusion ERP is a significant requirement for many Abu Dhabi real estate roles.
• Strong background in construction, MEP, engineering, or real estate sectors is ideal.
• Experience in a multi‑office environment or managing IT across project sites is beneficial.
