Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled welder for maintenance, fabrication and repair of static equipment at our Abu Dhabi facility. The role involves performing welding, cutting and brazing to exact specifications, while adhering to safety standards and PTW requirements.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of welding experience in large industrial settings, preferably Oil & Gas, and hold a Secondary education with a vocational welding certificate.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate with vocational welding certificate.
• 4 years of welding experience in large industrial plants, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Ability to perform welding, cutting and brazing per technical specs.
• Familiar with PTW requirements and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding, cutting and brazing per technical specs and safety standards.
• Perform hot work per PTW with proper PPE and safe practices.
• Maintain tools and equipment; report defects to supervisor.
• Prepare weld maps and welding summary sheets during fabrication activities.
