Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Plant Operator to operate and monitor process plant and facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role requires performing operations safely, adhering to SOPs and HSE standards, and coordinating with maintenance and safety teams.

You will also manage chemicals, operate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies. Minimum qualifications include a Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with about 4 years of experience in a large oil and gas plant.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Plant Operations within a large industrial plant, in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven ability to operate and monitor process plant and facilities safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned Operational work safely to SOPs.
• Perform routine checks on equipment and coordinate servicing.
• Adjust speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates for start-up/shutdown operations.
• Prepare plant/equipment for maintenance in coordination with other equipment and plant.
• Receive chemicals, manage stock/consumption registers, and prepare chemical batches.
• Operate related machinery safely and in accordance with standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies.
• Obtain work permits and monitor Contractor activities for safety adherence.
• Perform Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer duties during emergencies as required.
• Communicate instructions from Supervisor to carry out duties efficiently.
• Prepare KPI commitment checklists for management review.
