Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to operate, control and monitor process facilities within an assigned operational area in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on maintaining safe and efficient plant performance in accordance with approved operating procedures, technical requirements and company HSE standards.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma, minimum four years of plant operations experience in a large industrial facility, and is able to monitor process parameters,

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent for process operations.
• Experience in large industrial facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process plant systems per SOPs.
• Perform tasks safely and to technical standards.
• Inspect equipment and identify abnormal conditions.
• Report defects and coordinate maintenance with supervisors.
• Adjust operating parameters (speed, temperature, pressure, flow).
• Support safe start-up and shutdown activities.
• Prepare systems and equipment for maintenance with proper isolation.
• Receive chemicals and manage stock/logs.
• Prepare chemical batches as required and follow HSE rules.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Obtain work permits and track work in area.
• Monitor contractor activity and enforce safety rules.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental policies.
• Perform emergency duties as needed under Plan.
• Communicate operational information clearly to team.
