Job summary

Crescent Petroleum Company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced ML solutions for reliability, predictive maintenance, and production optimization in oil and gas environments.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in oil & gas or manufacturing, strong cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of end-to-end data science initiatives from problem framing to deployment and monitoring, with emphasis on scalable, production-grade models and clear stakeholder

Qualifications

• MS in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• Proven applied Machine Learning experience (regression, classification, supervised and unsupervised).
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on ML design, development, deployment in industrial contexts.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing environments is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML algorithms for industrial use cases (reliability monitoring, predictive maintenance).
• Develop supervised and unsupervised models (regression/classification).
• Apply strong math foundations to model development and optimization.
