Job summary

STYLI is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist in Dubai to own high-impact data science initiatives from problem definition to productionizing solutions. You will work with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes and robust models.

You will independently tackle complex problems, design reliable training data, and monitor deployed models, while communicating results clearly and guiding the wider data science team.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL with production-ready DS code.
• Strong experience building, evaluating and deploying ML models with measurement of business impact.
• Solid understanding of probability, statistics, experimental design and bias/leakage.
• Track record owning multiple DS initiatives from framing to production and monitoring.
• Experience designing reliable training/evaluation datasets and identifying data gaps.
• Knowledge of production ML concepts including batch/real-time inference, APIs, CI/CD, monitoring and retraining.
• Ability to trade off accuracy, latency, scalability and cost.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication to influence product directions.
• Proactive, outcome-oriented with the ability to work under ambiguity and guide others.

Responsibilities

• Independently solve complex business problems using data, statistics and ML.
• Own DS projects from framing through deployment and impact measurement.
• Extract, clean and analyze large datasets; design features and evaluation frameworks.
• Build, tune and improve ML models with sound baselines and metrics.
• Perform error analysis for bias, leakage and data quality issues.
• Design experiments to estimate incremental business impact.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to productionize solutions.
• Monitor model quality, data health, and business outcomes post-launch.
• Make trade-offs on accuracy, latency, scalability and cost.
• Write maintainable, versioned, and documented code.
• Communicate findings and risks clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to code/model reviews and mentor other DS colleagues.
