Job summary

HYDE in Dubai, UAE seeks an Income Auditor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records through thorough audits. You will balance Front Office postings, verify hotel reports, and reconcile card commissions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 2 years in income auditing, ideally in hospitality. Proficiency with Sun System, Opera, Micros and Vision, plus advanced Excel, is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial software skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements.
• Verify and monitor all hotel reports and night audit reports.
• Reconcile credit card commissions and F&B POS systems.
• Monitor front office rebates and review F&B voids for proper authorization.
• Prepare daily operational packages for management review.
• Assist with month-end closing and analysis of bank accounts.
• Prepare month-end income journal entries according to company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in conducting surprise float counts and other accounting tasks as required.
• Stay updated on local financial regulations and standards in Dubai, UAE.
