Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with financial software, spreadsheets, and PMS.
  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication in English and integrity with confidential data.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and verify night audit functions, applying corrections as needed.
  • Upload and reconcile daily revenue from Rooms, F&B, SPA, and more.
  • Analyze income streams, room status reports, and KPIs.
  • Prepare and maintain security deposit reports.
  • Conduct surprise cash counts and POS audits.
  • Support outlets and POS teams with financial inquiries.
  • Collaborate to ensure proper revenue recognition and reporting; stay updated on policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our finance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data by reviewing, verifying, and analyzing various income streams and financial reports.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and verify night audit functions, making necessary corrections or changes
  • Upload and reconcile daily revenue from various departments (e.g., Rooms, F&B, SPA, Activities)
  • Analyze and verify all income streams, room status reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare and maintain security deposit reports
  • Conduct surprise cash counts and point-of-sale (POS) audits
  • Support outlet and POS teams with financial-related inquiries and issues
  • Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain financial accuracyCollaborate with other departments to ensure proper revenue recognition and reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, industry standards, and best practices in income auditing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar income auditing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheet applications, and property management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Ability to work with confidential information with the highest level of integrity
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and presenting financial reports
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required
