A minimum of 3 years UAE experience in auditing or accounting is required, along with a preference for backgrounds in 5-star hotels or holiday homes. An age limit of 30 years is also applicable for this position.

Overview

Income Accountant required for a leading Holiday Homes & Hotel business in Downtown Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the front office to ensure that all payments have been received before Check Out Process
• Review the daily rates with the reservation team as appropriate
• Supervise Pre-Auth Deposit and refund process
• Charge amenities to guests and owners
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Provide technical support and advice on Management Accounting
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting
• Provide input into department goal setting process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budgets according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Plan, assign and review staff's work
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with FTA principles
• Liaise with the Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures

Requirements

• Audit Company Experience - ICAP
• Cancelled Visa or Visit Visa required; Immediate Joining; No notice period
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as auditor/Accountant
• Age maximum 30 years
• Preferred UAE experience in 5* Hotel (or Holiday Homes) as reservation and revenue auditor
• Preferred experience in Property Management System (Opera, RMS) back office
