Job summary

iCademy Middle East is seeking an Inclusion Support Learning Coach to provide tailored academic support for Students of Determination from KG–12, collaborating with Inclusion Lead, teachers, families and external specialists to create inclusive learning environments.

The role includes placement assessments, IEP/ILP development, progress monitoring, and compliant with KHDA regulations, with occasional cover as a grade-specific Learning Coach and safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or Inclusive Education.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience supporting Students of Determination and students with additional learning, behavioural, social-emotional, and physical needs across KG-Grade 12.
• Experience with standardized assessments such as WRAT5 or Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement.
• Experience delivering literacy interventions (Toe by Toe, Read Write Inc., Fresh Start, Orton-Gillingham-based approaches, Lexia, Nessy, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of KHDA Inclusive Education Policy Framework and UAE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support SoD and students with additional needs across KG-Grade 12 with targeted interventions (in-class, pull-out, and online).
• Assist with admissions assessments, placement evaluations, and in-class trial observations.
• Develop and review IEPs and ILPs with measurable targets and accommodations.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, Learning Coaches, families, and external specialists.
• Ensure KHDA compliance and safeguarding protocols in daily practice.
• Provide guidance to Learning Support Assistants and monitor implementation of student plans.
