Job summary

LEAMS Education Group in Dubai is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on assessing learning requirements, implementing IEPs, adapting instruction, and working with teachers, parents, and the inclusion team to support student progress.

The successful candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment, collaborate with school specialists, and contribute to monitoring progress and behavioural support plans to help every student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education or a relevant qualification.
• Experience in SEN teaching preferred; fresh graduates may apply if requirements are met.
• Experience in inclusive education and development of IEPs is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, assessment, and behaviour support.

Responsibilities

• Implement Inclusive Education and the school’s Inclusion Policy across phases.
• Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
• Assess and monitor student progress using learning data and targets.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, counsellors, and inclusion team to support progress.
• Mentor Learning Support Assistants and coordinate with school professionals.
