Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a friendly Room Service Attendant to take orders, deliver to guest rooms, and maintain impeccable room service areas. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and uphold the highest standards of service and presentation.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a luxury 5-star resort on Palm Jumeirah.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.
• Restock and replenish room service items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
• Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and encourage feedback.
