Job summary

LEAMS Education is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial standards. The position is critical for managing budgets and supporting strategic decision-making within the school.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, relevant certifications, and experience in school finance. The salary package ranges from AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field is mandatory.
• Professional certifications such as CMA or ACCA will be a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role within the UAE is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reporting standards, and financial controls.
• Experience in school finance or education sector accounting is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including ledgers, reconciliations, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor school budgets, expense controls, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE financial regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Handle payroll coordination, vendor payments, invoicing, and fee-related financial transactions.
