Job summary

Aldar Education LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Abu Dhabi to join its finance team. The role focuses on AR management, invoicing, budgeting support and timely financial reporting within a high-performing school group.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and 5+ years in finance, or 2+ years in a similar role with a professional qualification, with strong communication and accounting software skills to ensure accurate month-end close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance function or 2+ years in a similar role with a professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Accounts Receivable GL accounts are accurate and collect within due date.
• Support budget processes with Principal and HQ finance; assist monthly closes and MIS review.
• Manage invoicing for tuition fees, exam fees, trips and other charges with accuracy and timeliness.
• Call parents daily to follow up on payments and issue receipts to aid bank reconciliation.
• Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budget and strategic plan, and ensure timely reporting.
