Job summary

GEORG FISCHER in Dubai seeks a hands-on Production Operator to run extrusion and molding lines, set up molds, monitor quality, and maintain records. You will ensure product integrity by performing routine inspections and adjustments as needed to prevent defects.

The role requires at least 2 years in plastics manufacturing, familiarity with extrusion/moulding processes, and good English writing. Safety PPE use is mandatory, with adherence to SOPs and quality controls throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Two years of production operations experience in plastics or pipe manufacturing.
• Knowledge of extrusion and/or molding processes is a plus.
• Good written English and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, prepare and set up extrusion/molding machines per product specs.
• Install molds/tools and ensure proper alignment and configuration.
• Monitor process and adjust settings to maintain product quality.
• Inspect products for defects and maintain quality standards.
• Record production output and machine adjustments for reporting.
