Job summary

GEORG FISCHER is seeking a CNC operator with programming and setup responsibilities in Abu Dhabi. The role involves directly operating CNC milling machines, performing tool changes, and reading Isometric and 2D drawings to determine tasks.

You will conduct machine maintenance and document quality checks on HDPE and related piping products. The ideal candidate holds an ITI qualification with at least 2 years of CNC experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with plastic materials.

Qualifications

• ITI qualification with minimum 2 years CNC machine operation experience.
• Experience in plastic materials manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to understand pipes and fittings specification drawings and read Isometrics & 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Directly involved in CNC milling and programming (G Code), set-up and operations of the CNC machine.
• Performs tool changes as required and operates CNC machines.
• Examine drawings (Isometrics & 2D drawings) and sketches to determine work required for a job.
• Conduct machine maintenance and upkeep of CNC equipment.
• Measuring & quality control documentation.
• Fabrication of piping products by Butt Fusion, Electro Fusion, Infra-Red Welding, Sidewall Fusion, Socket Fusion, Extrusion welding and Cementing methods.
• Maintain all production documentation and ensure safe operations of CNC Machines, Welding Machines, Bandsaws, and other power tools.
