Job summary

EDGE in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented commercial finance professional to assist in developing and executing strategic commercial plans. You will work across departments to optimize revenue, monitor P&L, provide insights, and support budgeting and cashflow analyses.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to guide senior management decisions. This role offers exposure to performance metrics, pricing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic business

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/ finance or equivalent.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0.
• Internship in commercial function is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Profit & Loss statements and assumptions.
• Prepare P&L statements, pricing, and commercial summaries in a timely manner.
• Assist to develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with goals.
• Assist to design and execute strategies to maximize sales and revenue.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and report on commercial activities.
• Identify risks to commercial operations and develop mitigations.
• Support on budget analysis and presentations for budgets and business plans.
• Maintain milestones collections database and related reports.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and deliver adhoc EDGE reports.

Job Purpose

This role involves assist to developing and executing strategic commercial plans to drive business growth, optimize revenue, and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist of Profit & Loss statement and Assumptions
• Timely preparation of Profit & Loss statement and Assumptions, Customer Pricing and commercial summary
• Assist to Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with business goals
• Assist to Design and execute strategies to maximize sales and revenue
• Assist to Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to guide decision-making
• Assist to Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports on commercial activities and outcomes
• Identify potential risks to commercial operations and develop mitigation strategies
• Assist to process changes to reduce the timelines for Customer pricing and P&L preparation
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commercial activities
• Support to prepare Detailed Cashflow at a milestone level for cash inflows and outflows
• Support in budget analysis and preparation of presentations for budget and Business Plan
• Prepare milestones wise collections database and support to prepare report
• Deliver effective communication to customer queries within given time from the day of the receiving the queries.
• Deliver EDGE adhoc report requests.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/ finance or equivalent
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0

Minimum Experience

• Intern experience in commercial function would be good
