Job summary

A leading design consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced professional to oversee interior design projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly with UAE/GCC projects. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing inspection reports. Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills, currently based in the UAE, and available to join immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role with a design consultancy background.
• Proven experience working on UAE/GCC interior design projects.
• Good knowledge of UAE building codes and interior regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure interior design works comply with approved drawings specifications and quality standards.
• Review and validate ID materials mockups and finish samples for approval.
• Coordinate with design consultants contractors and suppliers to address IDrelated issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and report on progress of ID works and flag any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations client requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports snag lists and followup on rectifications.
• Evaluate workmanship and detailing in ID installations including joinery ceilings partitions wall finishes and flooring.
• Support project teams in maintaining high standards of aesthetics and functionality.
• Participate in handover procedures and quality assurance processes for interior areas.

Key Qualifications
