J10 Consulting FZ LLE seeks a seasoned Site Inspector (Arch/ID) to lead on-site architectural interior design and finishing inspections for high-profile residential and mixed-use projects in Abu Dhabi. Immediate joining for a 6-month fixed-term contract, outsourced via J10 Consulting.

The role demands strong on-site inspection skills, proficiency with shop drawings, and clear English reporting. Fluency in coordinating with contractors and other disciplines is essential for project success.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of extensive practical experience in Architectural Interior Design and finishes inspection.
• BSc Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• Experience in residential and mixed-use high-rise projects in the UAE.

Aufgaben

• Conduct on-site inspections in line with interior design and finishing ITPs.
• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and respond promptly.
• Review submitted shop drawings and contractor submissions for architecture and related information.
• Comment on shop drawings, materials, method statements and pre-qualification data.
• Ensure compliance with architectural design intent, contract specs and drawings.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor daily contractor activities.
• Report deficiencies and oversee corrections on site.
• Liaise with other disciplines for coordination issues and attend technical meetings.
• Resolve issues related to architectural information in a timely manner.

Our Multi National Design Supervision Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Site Inspector Architectural Interior Design to join their team in Abu Dhabi

Successful candidates will have strong Site Inspection experience in Architectural Interior Design and finishing works for high profile residential and mixed use projects in the UAE and have worked for a recognised consultancy company previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting strong Responsibilities strong

This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the Interior Design Finishing related Inspection and Test Plans ITP s Responsibilities Paramount to success within this varied role will include Attending to Inspection Requests IR s submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner Review submitted shop drawings Review and comment on Contractor s technical submitting for the architecture and other relevant information shop drawing materials method statement pre-qualification design Ensure compliance of with the architectural design intent contract specifications and drawings Carry out site inspections when necessary Monitor and supervise the work of contractors every day activities Report on deficiency corrections on site in relation to the architecture Liaise with other disciplines for co-ordination issues and attend technical meetings discussions to resolve as issue arises in relation to the architectural information

Site Inspector (Arch / ID) requirements:

• Must possess at least 5 years of extensive practical experience in the field as Architectural, ID and Finishes Inspector.
• BSc Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Must have experience in residential and mixed use high rise projects.
• Strong experience in Snagging and handing over of high end projects.
• Strong written and verbal English skills for completing reports and attending meetings is required.
