Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking an experienced Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine for a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves managing critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, delivering high-level ICU care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.

The successful candidate will contribute to advancing critical care services, patient safety, clinical governance, and the development of ICU protocols, while leading and mentoring

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Intensive Care Medicine.
• American Board and Western qualifications are preferred.
• Experience as a consultant in a tertiary or advanced ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and management of critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Lead diagnosis and treatment of acute life-threatening conditions.
• Manage advanced airway, ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support.
• Coordinate care with emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, neurology, anesthesia.
• Participate in rounds, audits, teaching, and ICU service development.
• Ensure patient safety and infection-control standards.
