Role Context

This role is responsible for leading the International Baccalaureate Career‑related Programme within a high‑performing secondary school, driving academic outcomes, strengthening student pathways, and maintaining compliance with global IB frameworks while supporting institutional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of the IBCP framework across the secondary phase
Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment standards, and programme compliance with IB requirements
Guide students in academic counselling, subject selection, and career pathway planning
Manage core programme elements including Reflective Project, Personal and Professional Skills, and Community Engagement
Collaborate with faculty and leadership teams to maintain consistent programme quality
Track student progress and introduce improvement strategies based on performance data
Support teacher development through mentoring, coaching, and structured training initiatives
Coordinate with external bodies and ensure readiness for inspections and accreditations
Promote a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Ideal Profile

Strong experience working with IB programmes, ideally IBCP within secondary education
Proven leadership background in post‑16 or secondary school environments
Deep knowledge of IB curriculum frameworks, assessment methods, and compliance standards
Experience supporting student academic pathways and higher education guidance
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational capabilities
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage academic initiatives
