Job summary

Dorsch Holding GmbH – DC Middle East is seeking a Hydraulic Modeler (ICM) for projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The role focuses on developing and calibrating hydraulic models for stormwater, sewerage and wet utilities, using Info-Works ICM and related tools.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Water/Environmental Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience with engineering consultants, with strong GIS data interpretation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Preferably 7+ years of relevant professional experience with Engineering Consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop, calibrate and manage hydraulic models using Info-Works ICM.
• Undertake modelling and analysis of stormwater, sewerage and wet utility networks.
• Perform 1D/2D modelling, hydraulic capacity, flooding and network performance assessments.
• Experience in the design of surface water network designs for planned layouts and developments.
• Support wet utility infrastructure design, including drainage, sewerage, pumping stations and associated networks.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, modelling reports and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support Dubai Municipality/DEWA authority submissions and approvals.
• Review and interpret GIS, survey and network data for hydraulic modelling.
• Identify hydraulic constraints and develop practical mitigation/improvement solutions
• Prepare reporting for modelling projects suitable for review and client presentation.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.

Preferably 7+ years of relevant professional experience, with Engineering Consultants

Software proficiencies Info-Works ICM; Storm-CAD, Civil 3D, and similar design tools
