Job summary

Zurich Insurance is seeking an Underwriting Assistant in Dubai (Hybrid). You will support underwriters in reviewing applications, pricing low-complexity risks, and maintaining policy documentation. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with brokers and internal teams. This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid work arrangements in DIFC, Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field.
• Knowledge of insurance principles and practices is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and underwriting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist higher proficiency Underwriters in reviewing applications and pricing low-complexity risks.
• Support basic underwriting tasks, including account servicing and documentation prep.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and correspondence.
• Communicate with brokers and stakeholders to obtain missing information.
• Assist in preparing underwriting reports and presentations for decision-making.
• Collaborate with Claims and Finance to ensure smooth processes.
• Stay updated on regulations and market conditions.
