Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Process Engineer – Soldering in Dubai to set up, validate, maintain and improve wave soldering, depaneling, and XRay processes. You will collaborate with R&D, support industrialization, and drive productivity improvements through CI and VAVE initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in PCBA soldering manufacturing engineering, a strong lean mindset, and hands-on expertise with soldering equipment and quality standards. Hybrid work and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in PCBA soldering manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and maintain Operators and Maintenance work instructions for soldering, depaneling and XRay equipment.
• Support NPI/transfer PCBA projects and ProLaunch manufacturing deliverables.
• Influence PCB/PCBA design through DFM reviews with R&D.
• Ensure ECO/MCO implementation for soldering/depanelling on time.
• Track cycle times and update RCCP data with production managers.
• Support customer audits and plant quality certification programs at soldering level.
