Job summary
Eaton is seeking a Process Engineer Soldering PCBA in Dubai to set up, validate, maintain and improve wave soldering, selective wave soldering, depaneling, and related manufacturing processes. You will work with R&D during design phases to improve manufacturability of PCBA and support industrialization programs.
The role focuses on optimizing soldering and depanelling processes for new products, transferring PCBA from other Eaton plants or EMS, and driving CI and VAVE projects to enhance
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of PCBA soldering/manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of soldering processes and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and maintain work instructions for soldering, depaneling, and X-Ray equipment.
- Support NPI and transferred PCBA projects.
- Lead process improvements to reduce defects and scrap.
- Coordinate with R&D for DFM reviews and ECO/MCO implementations.
- Benchmark soldering processes against industry standards and suppliers.
