Job summary

Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in HVAC and plumbing system design, estimation, and project coordination for villas, warehouses, and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities include designing systems, performing load calculations and ducting, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, handling tenders and documentation, and coordinating with clients and suppliers while ensuring UAE/GCC standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design and estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software; UAE/GCC standards knowledge.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills; UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for villas, warehouses, and commercial buildings.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, ducting design, chilled water system design, and ventilation planning.
• Prepare plumbing system designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
• Handle tender submissions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE/GCC standards, local authority regulations, and applicable project specifications.
