Job summary

SKM Air Conditioning LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Sharjah to plan, direct, and optimize maintenance, tooling, production, quality, and engineering. The role drives Lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-reduction across the plant, coordinating with leadership to improve efficiency and output.

You will supervise tooling, approve equipment upgrades, manage budgets, and guide plant renovations with a focus on safety and quality. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Production/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of engineering applications in design and production.
• Knowledgeable in machines, tools, including design, repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assigns jobs and sets priorities; oversees daily workflow of the department.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains department staff.
• Provides performance evaluations and handles discipline per policy.
• Analyses manufacturing operations to locate inefficiencies.
• Leads Lean practices: 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and VSM.
• Oversees tooling operations; ensures quality and safety standards.
• Approves purchase, installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Prepares and implements the departmental budget.
