Job summary

HTC Technical and Cleaning Services LLC is seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment & HVAC Technician to install, inspect and maintain a range of commercial kitchen equipment and HVAC systems. The role requires diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults, reading wiring diagrams, and performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect and maintain Kitchen Equipment and HVAC.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults. Service equipment such as ovens, cooking ranges, fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ice machines, food processors, exhaust systems, pumps, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical components including control panels, switches, relays, contactors, sensors, thermostats and wiring.
• Perform mechanical repairs on motors, bearings, belts, gears, valves, pumps and other moving components.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Test and calibrate equipment after installation or repair to ensure proper operation.
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
