Overview
The HR Planning Sr. Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving the long-term people agenda of the organization. Acting as the key bridge between business priorities and workforce execution, this role ensures that HR policies, frameworks, and transformation initiatives are fully aligned with organizational goals. The HR Planning Director oversees workforce planning, HR governance, analytics, and excellence frameworks, ensuring that HR not only supports but also anticipates business needs. The role partners closely with senior leadership to provide actionable workforce insights, monitor HR performance, and guide transformation programs that enhance organizational agility, efficiency, and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
Planning & Alignment
- Translate Group strategy into HR priorities, frameworks, and action plans.
- Support the development and refresh of the HR Strategic Plan (3–5 years).
- Partner with HR leadership to align workforce planning, policies, and programs with business needs.
HR Excellence & Governance
- Lead the HR excellence agenda, ensuring processes are efficient, agile, and benchmarked against best practices.
- Develop and monitor HR scorecards, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-HR initiatives (policies, programs, projects) to ensure integration and consistency.
- Support governance forums (e.g., NRC, Board Committees) with reports, insights, and updates.
HR Analytics & Insights
- Design and deliver advanced HR analytics and workforce insights (headcount, attrition, productivity, Emiratization, diversity, engagement).
- Implement predictive analytics to support decision-making in talent management, rewards, and workforce planning.
- Partner with IT / Data teams to develop integrated HR dashboards and self-service reporting.
- Provide strategic HR analytics reports to CHRO, CEO, and Board on a regular basis.
Projects & Transformation
- Lead and monitor key HR transformation initiatives (digitization, policy simplification, operating model redesign).
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, benchmarking, and employee feedback loops.
- Drive change management, communications, and adoption of new HR initiatives.
- Mentor and develop team members within HR Strategy & Excellence.
- Build HR capabilities in strategy, analytics, and project management across the function.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the HR team
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Industrial / Organizational Psychology with CIPD / SHRM with Korn ferry or equivalent certification in job evaluation required.
Experience
- 7-10 years’ experience in managing workforce plans, with at least 5 years leading manpower planning and analysis.
