Job summary

TRANS WAVE MARINE SHIPPING SERVICES L.L.C is seeking an HSQE Manager in the United Arab Emirates to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, environment and quality management systems. You will conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement effective controls.

You will investigate incidents, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions while overseeing HSQE training to ensure personnel adhere to duties and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of national and international health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify HSQE risks.
• Proficient in using HSQE management software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSQE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001).
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee HSQE training programs to ensure staff understand responsibilities and best practices.
• Manage environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with legislation and permits.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and foster relationships.
