Job summary

TRANS WAVE MARINE SHIPPING SERVICES L.L.C in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an HSQE professional to develop, implement and maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 aligned management systems, driving compliance and continuous improvement across sites.

You will conduct risk assessments, investigations into incidents and near-misses, deliver HSQE training, and liaise with regulators and clients to uphold health, safety and environmental standards in Fujairah and other operating locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive HSQE management systems ISO 9001 and 14001 to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement control measures
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
• Oversee the development and delivery of HSQE training programs for all personnel
• Manage environmental impact assessments and ensure adherence to environmental legislation and permits
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance and foster positive working relationships
• Strong understanding of national and international health, safety and environmental legislation
• Proficiency in risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action plans
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to engage with all levels of the organization
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify HSQE risks
• Proficiency in HSQE management software and data analysis tools
• Ability to travel to various sites and work effectively in diverse operational environments
