Job summary

JOTUN in Dubai is seeking an HSEQ Specialist for our MEIA Graduate Program. You will promote a strong Health, Safety, Environment and Quality culture across operations in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3. You report to the HSEQ Manager and advance through focused trainings over a year.

You will implement policies, conduct inspections, support investigations, maintain documentation, and train staff and visitors while collaborating with Operations to improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, safety & environment (HSE) or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in manufacturing.
• NEBOSH or OSHA certification is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems to ensure compliance.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents and near-misses; identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Maintain HSEQ documentation and site records to stay audit-ready.
• Deliver HSEQ inductions and awareness training to employees, contractors and visitors.
• Collaborate with Operations to support Permit to Work and drive continuous HSEQ improvement.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Responsibilities

• Implement maintain and continuously improve Health Safety Environment and Quality HSEQ policies procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
• Conduct workplace inspections audits and risk assessments identifying hazards and driving corrective actions to enhance safety and operational performance
• Support incident accident and near-miss investigations identify root causes and ensure effective preventive and corrective measures are implemented and sustained
• Maintain HSEQ and ISO documentation ensuring records procedures and site practices remain accurate compliant and audit ready
• Deliver HSEQ inductions and awareness training to employees contractors and visitors promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organization
• Collaborate closely with Operations and key stakeholders to support Permit to Work processes manage high-risk activities and drive continuous improvement in HSEQ performance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who

• Bachelor s degree in health Safety amp Environment HSE or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role preferably within a manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH or OSHA certification is an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
