Job summary

Al Shirawi Contracting Company in Dubai seeks an experienced HSE professional to develop and manage safety plans on-site. You will conduct risk assessments, implement permit-to-work systems, and lead safety inspections to prevent incidents.

You will review and update legal registers, coach staff on near-miss reporting, and supervise subcontractor safety performance while reporting to the HSE Manager. This role requires strong communication and practical enforcement of safety standards.

Qualifications

• Review safety requirements via daily safety walk around.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE plans and risk assessments.
• Review safety requirements through daily site walks and reports.
• Issue permits for critical activities and manage subcontractors.
• Monitor OH&S performance and update legal register for compliance.
• Conduct inspections and internal audits to measure control effectiveness.
• Promote near-miss reporting and safety culture.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare FIRs.
• Communicate control measures to staff and management.
• Perform CAPA analysis after implementing controls.
