Job summary

Confidential Dubai-based organization seeks an experienced HSE Officer to oversee day-to-day health, safety, environmental, fire safety and regulatory compliance across a warehouse and head office complex.

Reporting to operations leadership, you will lead inspections, risk assessments, permit-to-work controls, training, emergency planning and incident investigations to protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or International Diploma, IOSH Managing Safely, Fire Marshal/Fire Warden, First Aid/CPR, incident investigation and risk assessment certifications expected or preferred.
• Practical knowledge of UAE HSE, labour, fire and civil defense requirements, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections across warehouse and office areas, identify unsafe conditions and track corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain HIRA, JSA, risk assessments, safe work procedures and permit-to-work controls.
• Monitor forklift operations, racking, loading bays, battery charging and contractor activities to prevent incidents.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and close them within timelines.
• Maintain emergency response plans, fire safety arrangements and evacuation drills.
