Job summary

Agthia Group seeks an HSE Officer to safeguard a safe, compliant workplace at BMB – Al Ain. You will implement the HSEMS, perform site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed.

You will promote HSE awareness, provide guidance and first aid support, and act as Fire Marshal during emergencies. You will monitor environmental, food defense, and food security requirements, while tracking HSE KPIs and maintaining records to

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or Science or related fields.
• 2-3 years functional experience in a large organization (food industry is a plus).
• Having NEBOSH International Certificate, IOSH, First Aider, Fire fighter, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 auditor certifications or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and its application.

Overview

The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant workplace by identifying HSE risks, maintaining Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems, and ensuring timely corrective actions to prevent incidents, protect employees, and minimize environmental impact.

What Would Make You Successful?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or Science or related fields.

Minimum Experience

• 2-3 years functional experience in a large organization in similar capacity (food industry is a plus).
• Having NEBOSH International Certificate, IOSH, First Aider, Fire fighter, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 auditor certifications or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
