Job summary

A property management firm in the UAE is seeking an entry-level HSE Support Officer to assist with the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies. The role targets UAE Nationals, providing practical experience in safety inspections, compliance monitoring, and supporting HSE training. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and basic knowledge in workplace safety and risk management, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Working hours are four days a week for five hours a day.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in HSE, safety, site coordination, or compliance; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic HSE training (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of HSE policies and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and hazard identification.
• Support incident reporting and documentation.
• Maintain safety records and training logs.
• Assist in HSE training sessions and awareness campaigns.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Support risk assessments and help track corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure adherence to local authority and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing basic HSE reports, statistics, and performance dashboards.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the HSE team as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Job Purpose

The HSE Support Officer is an entry-level role designed to develop UAE Nationals by providing practical exposure to core Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations. The role supports the implementation of HSE policies, compliance monitoring, and day-to-day safety activities across sites and offices.

The position focuses on building foundational knowledge in workplace safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance while contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across sites and departments.
• Assist in conducting site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and hazard identification activities.
• Support incident reporting, documentation, and preliminary investigations under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training logs, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in organizing HSE training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
