Job summary

Zohorecruit in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced HSE Professional to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our modular construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role requires night shifts and immediate availability.

The successful candidate will implement HSE policies, perform risk assessments, and drive safety culture on site while ensuring UAE and international standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering, Environmental Science or a relevant discipline.
• 8–10 years of overall HSE experience.
• 5+ years UAE experience on projects of similar size, nature and complexity.
• Experience in modular construction, construction, manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and international standards.
• Experience managing HSE requirements independently on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, project requirements, and international standards.
• Monitor safe work practices and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE awareness sessions for site personnel.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, inspection findings, and documentation.

Job Overview
