Job summary

Basatin Landscaping SPLLC is seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on inspecting sites, developing policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations across construction and landscape projects.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, 5+ years of experience with CSP/NEBOSH or equivalent, and strong communication and computer skills to train teams and drive safety improvements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree /Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations for hazard control measures.
• Organizing and conducting safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, or near misses, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
• Ensuring that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Advising on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects
