  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions and workshops for staff on best practices in health, safety and environmental management.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop action plans for improving safety performance and mitigating risks.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety policies and adjust them to changing regulations or standards.
  • Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Stay updated on current HSE laws and regulations to keep the organization proactive.
  • Participate in safety audits and assessments for continuous improvement of safety standards.

  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate staff on best practices in health safety and environmental management
  • Collaborate with site management to develop action plans for improving safety performance and mitigating risks
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety policies and adjust them based on changing regulations or industry standards
  • Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
  • Stay updated on current HSE laws and regulations ensuring the organization remains compliant and proactive in its safety initiatives
  • Participate in safety audits and assessments to ensure continuous improvement in workplace safety standards
Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent recognized safety qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably in high-risk industries such as construction or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, with a strong ability to interpret and apply them in a workplace setting.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, particularly in regions with diverse workforces.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Proficient in using HSE management software and tools for reporting and analysis.
  • A proactive mindset, demonstrating initiative and a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
  • Physical ability to conduct site inspections, including walking long distances and negotiating various terrains.
