Job summary

Khidmah is seeking an HSE professional in Abu Dhabi to lead site health, safety and environmental initiatives. You will conduct regular inspections, develop policies, and train teams to meet regulations.

The role involves risk assessment, incident investigation, collaboration with project teams, and ensuring proper PPE usage, waste management, and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CSP or NEBOSH are preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and provide hazard control recommendations.
• Organize and conduct safety training for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed corrective action reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE into planning.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs.
• Ensure PPE is accessible and properly used by personnel.
• Advise on waste management and environmental sustainability practices.

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations for hazard control measures.
• Organizing and conducting safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, or near misses, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
• Ensuring that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Advising on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects.

Experience & Skills

Industry Experience (No. of years):
